GLS Language Services was established in Glasgow in 1983. Since then the company has provided translation and interpreting services to a wide range of professional and industrial organisations throughout the UK, continental Europe and the USA.

GLS Language Services is a full member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) and all translators are accredited.

DAGMAR FÖRTSCH is the principal of the business and served as Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Glasgow from 1998 – 2006. She is a member of the Scottish Area Committee of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
